A Second Heartbeat Within

Yep, finally got this colored. Yes, I kinda rushed the background, but oh well I wanted to get this done! Anyways this is a picture I did of Toph (been wanting to do one of her for a long time!) and I kind of had this idea when she first finds out she is pregnant she wouldn't be completely sure about it, a little surprised. Mainly because I am sure she didn't learn a lot about being pregnant growing up and had to learn on her own and that. So in other words she would be a little surprised about it.

Basically this is how I see this going. "Toph is in her office alone, thinking, but she realizes there is another heartbeat besides hers. She at first isn't sure where it is coming from, but it is faint and is almost in perfect rhythm with hers. The weirder thing is the second heartbeat is coming from where she is sitting. Thinking a little more, she realizes the time when katara was pregnant and how the babies heartbeat was. Toph quickly got up out of her chair placing a hand on her stomach like the wind was knocked out of her and she placed her other hand on her desk for support. She was pregnant, like Katara was. She was almost in shock surprised by it. She had to go to Katara, confirm if it was true or not."

So yeah, that is what happens in my head when she first discovered she was pregnant with Lin. Just was surprised and couldn't believe it at first.
